Arkansas' best game in the 2016 season was likely the 31-10 win over Florida on Nov. 5 in Razorback Stadium. That day the Razorbacks wore an anthracite uniform for the first and only time in the season. Uniform Authority has rated that uniform the No. 1 Blackout/Anthracite Uniform of the 2016 football season.
Florida went on to win the SEC East and play Alabama in the title game. But this particular day belonged to the Razorbacks. The Hogs held the Gators to 12 yards rushing on 14 attempts.
Arkansas quarterback Austin Allen had a big game. The junior completed 15 of 26 passes for 243 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Drew Morgan was on the receiving end of seven of those passes for 99 yards and a touchdown. Rawleigh Williams III rushed 26 times for 148 yards and two touchdowns.
Sophomore safety Santos Ramirez got the Hogs on the scoreboard first with a 24-yard interception return of a Luke Del Rio pass. Arkansas led 14-7 after the first period and 21-7 at intermission. Neither team scored in the third quarter and then the Hogs closed out the fourth quarter with a 36-yard field goal by Adam McFain as well as a 41-yard run by Williams.
